PRODUCT DETAILS
PRODUCT DETAILS

A porch blessing coir doormat for the Southern front porch, the farmhouse entry, or the mudroom door. Its Victorian lettering reads May Trouble Take the Road That Never Finds Our Porch, a wish for a home where hard days pass on by. Natural coir scrapes boots clean, and it makes a lovely closing gift or housewarming present for new homeowners.

✦ MATERIALS & PRODUCT DETAILS ✦

✦ Surface: tufted natural coir, spun from coconut husk fiber, with a bristled texture that scrapes dirt from boots and shoes.

✦ Design: the black artwork is printed into the coir fibers rather than sitting on top of them.

✦ Backing: black vinyl that helps hold the mat in place and protects the fiber from ground moisture.

✦ Size: 24" wide x 16" tall (61 x 40.6 cm), one size, with squared corners.

✦ Placement: covered porches, front entries, mudrooms, and interior thresholds.

✦ Made to order especially for you.

✦ THE DESIGN ✦

Turned porch posts with scrolled brackets stand on either side of the blessing, a row of balusters runs along the base, and a small winding road leads toward a single magnolia blossom at the center, all in true black dyed into warm natural coir. It reads like a page from an old pattern book for porch railings, softened by the South's most beloved bloom.

✦ WHERE IT BELONGS ✦

✦ Covered front porches and screened porches.

✦ Farmhouse entries, mudrooms, and back doors.

✦ Charming under a haint blue porch ceiling or beside a painted swing.

✦ Pair with a potted fern and a pair of rocking chairs.

✦ A THOUGHTFUL GIFT ✦

✦ Closing gift from a realtor or lender.

✦ Housewarming gift for new homeowners.

✦ Gift for the Southern friend who loves her porch most of all.

✦ CARE RITUAL ✦

✦ Shake out or sweep regularly.

✦ For a deeper clean, rinse gently with a hose and let it dry fully in the sun before laying it flat.

✦ Avoid standing water and heavy rain; a covered spot keeps the fibers and print at their best.

✦ Some shedding is natural in the first few weeks; simply shake it out.

✦ The Threshold Collection ✦

Warding mats and doorway blessings, made for every entry you keep.
